ABOUT US

FOUNDERS

We are Shane and Cynthia Hicks, the founders of RebootVA.

Shane graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Early in his military career, he took a blow to the head in hand-to-hand combat training that resulted in two torn retinas, a concussion, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and PTSD. After three surgeries, Shane was unexpectedly medically separated and had to fight for disability benefits. He then struggled to build a business within his residual capacity while finding employment opportunities for his formerly unemployed military spouse. Together, they learned the power of relationship marketing.

For over ten years, Shane and his wife have helped coach numerous startups and established businesses to follow a proven relationship marketing system to grow their businesses.

RebootVA intends to provide coaching and resources to Veterans through this system.

Thank you for helping support our Veterans.

Director of Operations

Lisa Galloway is the Principal of Guardian Financial Partners, LLC, based in San Antonio, Texas. A Financial Concierge and Financial Tactician, she is an expert in entrepreneurship and financial readiness for U.S. Military Veterans and Service Members.

Patriotism runs deep in Lisa’s family. Her late father served in the U.S. Air Force, her grandfather fought in World War II with the U.S. Navy, and her brother is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Many other family members have served in the Navy; Marine Corps and her cousin is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Lisa didn’t wait for a clear path. She created one. She built her foundation in financial services; however, success alone wasn’t the mission. It was service. The moment she began working with veterans, she saw it: our heroes had discipline, drive, and courage; however, lacked the financial firepower they deserved. There was a gap between service and strategy. Lisa made it her mission to close the gap and arm America’s heroes with wealth-building weapons.

She founded Guardian Financial Partners, LLC, a mission-driven firm built to close that gap. Lisa and her team of elite U.S. Military Veteran and civilian financial professionals developed a Financial Concierge model rooted in Clarity, Confidence, Commitment, and Connection empowering clients to take command of their financial future.

For Lisa, this isn’t just about numbers. It’s about honor, legacy, and leadership. It’s about ensuring every client, military and civilian has the strategy, structure, and support to build an unshakable financial fortress for life.

Because in her world, financial success isn’t optional. It’s earned, executed, and expected.

On a personal note, Lisa enjoys volunteering in the community and with her church. She is a certified group exercise instructor for the YMCA of Greater San Antonio and spends time with her mom, teaching exercise classes and riding her mountain bike.

Fundraising Lead

Rich Moyers is a business coach based in Maryland. He is the President and Head Coach of Business Profit Max, a firm that specializes in helping owners of small and medium-sized businesses regain control of their calendars and unleash profitability without having to focus on increased marketing, advertising, or paid lead generation activities. Rich has almost two decades of business experience to leverage from the federal government, nonprofit, and for-profit private sectors.

Raised in a large, military family – with his grandfather ‘hero’ having served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam – Rich himself retired from the Army after having earned his commission from the United States Military Academy at West Point, served with the Department of Defense and the US Border Patrol, instructed both technical and recreational SCUBA, worked within the EEO community and sexual assault victim advocacy, and directed a non-profit before founding Business Profit Max. He has studied leadership psychology and systems engineering at the bachelor’s, engineering management at the master’s, and systems and business administration – organizational leadership at the doctoral degree levels. He is highly engaged in his community, having volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Special Olympics, and numerous local events as well as has coached and officiated youth athletics for three decades.

Rich’s expertise in and passion for service integrates well into both his coaching, where he helps career transitioning / change of mission for servicemembers and veterans from uniform to either employee or employer, and counseling services for those navigating their way through current challenges.

On a personal note, Rich is married to Desiree with two amazing children – and a rescue ‘fur baby’ dog! He considers himself a ‘raccoon’ for learning (constantly curious), is an avid reader, ‘big into’ sports, and is very much an audiophile.
