Raised in a large, military family – with his grandfather ‘hero’ having served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam – Rich himself retired from the Army after having earned his commission from the United States Military Academy at West Point, served with the Department of Defense and the US Border Patrol, instructed both technical and recreational SCUBA, worked within the EEO community and sexual assault victim advocacy, and directed a non-profit before founding Business Profit Max. He has studied leadership psychology and systems engineering at the bachelor’s, engineering management at the master’s, and systems and business administration – organizational leadership at the doctoral degree levels. He is highly engaged in his community, having volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Special Olympics, and numerous local events as well as has coached and officiated youth athletics for three decades.
